Tim Rainey is Assistant Professor of Religion at St. Olaf College. His research focuses on religion, race, and economy in the Black Atlantic world. He holds a B.A. degree in Religious Studies from Morehouse College, an M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. from Emory University.
