Crossroads Project Associate Research Scholar Alphonso F. Saville IV has been appointed Assistant Professor of American Religious History and Mission at the Charlotte campus of Union Presbyterian Seminary, beginning July 1.

Dr. Saville's book, The Gospel of John Marrant: Conjuring Christianity in the Black Atlantic, will be published by Duke University Press in August.
