A Conversation with Charlotte O'Neal, Exiled Original Black Panther
"This is part of a series of conversations about the intersection of religion and Black radical politics in Houston. Charlotte O'Neal has lived in Tanzania since 1970, when her husband Pete O'Neal, chairman of the Kansas City chapter of the Black Panther Party, fled the country. She will be sharing stories from her lifetime of political work and her and her husband's organization the United African Alliance Community Center, which they founded in Tanzania."
