The goal of this grant program is to support innovative work examining the diversity of Black religious history and cultures, past and present. The results of the funding will be featured on the project’s digital platform and will provide tools for students, scholars, and interested publics to explore this rich story. The cohort of grantees will have the opportunity to be in conversation with one another and are expected to participate in several virtual meetings with the Crossroads Project team over the course of the grant as they develop their projects.
The team expects to make ten grants total in the 2021-2022 cycle and ten more grants in each of three additional annual cycles.
The deadline for the 2021-2022 grant cycle has passed. Please check back in the Fall of 2022 for the next Request for Proposals.
